Information we may collect

Rummage Hunter may collect seller-submitted information such as listing title, category, description, suburb, postcode, event timing, optional address, contact details, listing photos, and moderation notes. We may also collect app or website usage details needed to operate and improve the service.

How we use information

We use submitted information to publish listings, run search and nearby discovery, support seller listing management, moderate reports, send listing verification or reminder emails, and improve the reliability of the product.

Seller privacy controls

Sellers can choose privacy-aware contact and location settings. Depending on the chosen listing setup, exact address details or contact details may be limited publicly until first contact or review.

Sharing and disclosure

Rummage Hunter does not sell personal information. Information may be shown publicly when a listing is approved and configured for public visibility, or used internally for moderation, fraud prevention, support, infrastructure operations, and service delivery.

Photos and listing media

Listing photos may be stored, resized, and displayed as part of the listing experience. Uploaded media should only include content the seller has permission to share.

Data retention and security

We keep listing and operational records for as long as reasonably needed to run the service, handle support requests, moderate content, and maintain trust and safety. No system can promise absolute security, but Rummage Hunter aims to use practical safeguards appropriate for its stage and scale.

Your requests

If you want to update or remove your listing information, use the Manage Listing flow where available or contact support. If you have a privacy question or request, email support@rummagehunter.com.
